Students
who live on campus and are connected to the campus network are
required to have McAfee anti-virus software and the Cisco
Clean Access Agent (CCA). Anti-virus and the CCA help to keep
the campus network free of malicious software (malware)
by preventing the spread of malware from a student computer to
the campus network.
The McAfee software comes with a spyware blocker
that helps to reduce the risk of spyware being installed on your
computer without your permission.
All students who are CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN CLASSES at
KSC are provided with McAfee anti-virus software and regular virus
definition updates. When switching from your current anti-virus
software to the KSC supported McAfee anti-virus, to avoid technical
problems you must UNINSTALL your current software BEFORE installing
the McAfee.
Print these instructions before downloading McAfee off
this CD.
