Online Gaming

Online gaming is a popular pastime, and on campus students need to request network access from the HelpDesk if they want to connect a gaming console to the network connection in their residence hall room. Requests can only be made when the student is actually living on campus because the gaming console needs to be connected to the network in order to assign an IP address.

Network access request form.

Bookmark the page if you think you’re going to need it once you get on campus.

Important: Students living in the residence halls are allowed to connect ONE network device at a time. That means a student may have EITHER a computer OR a gaming console connected to the network, but NOT BOTH at the same time.
